Motocross Photography
Julian is a freelance motocross photographer based in Suffolk, UK. After giving up MX as a rider, he turned his passion for the sport to MX photography instead. It was an obvious choice to combine his profession as a photographer with the action packed sport of motocross.
He has worked alongside manufacturers and retailers to produce stunning images for commercial use. Image quality is just as important with MX event photography, which is where he can be found most weekends. He provides the official MX photography at WildTracks, as well as providing an on-site printing service at other tracks and venues for private track days, race meetings and presentations. He has built a reputation with his customers for supplying high quality prints with stunning image detail to provide the best possible service.

He covers product photography for parts and clothing, portrait shots for individual riders and race teams and action shots on the track.

He is also available for private bookings, club meetings and training days. If you are planning to hire a motocross track for the day, he provides an on-site printing service. Using the best portable power equipment supplied by Lings Honda, this service can be provided anywhere. If you require a portrait shoot as well, he uses the latest Elinchrom studio and location lighting systems. Many motocross tracks offer private track hire, and he can offer the service as part of a package.

Julian also offers as part of his service, poster art design for MX images. His attention to detail and creativity shows in the quality of his design work. Custom designed motocross posters are available in a variety of sizes and styles, each one tailored to the needs of the client whether it be company logos, sponsors, names etc. These custom posters can be delivered throughout the UK. Julian is the official MX photographer for WildTracks, Chippenham Rd, Suffolk. Your images are organised on-site and stored in individual folders, ready for viewing during the afternoon.
For motocross event photography, we provide an on-site printing service. Purchased prints will be uploaded to our Facebook page for tagging and sharing with your friends. They will also be uploaded to the online gallery. This will enable you to purchase enlargements of your photos.
Ordering MX images Online
All MX photos will be uploaded to the motocross galleries. We do charge a small fee to open your own folder, however, you will receive a discount coupon code of the same value which can be used towards any purchases in your gallery.
Posters, Canvas & Frames
Motocross posters and canvas wraps are available for delivery or collection. A postage charge will be calculated at the checkout. If you wish to collect at the track, please contact us before placing your order to arrange this.- MX Small Prints - This is our standard print size - as seen on-site! Printed on gloss paper and includes cardboard photo mount. Dispatch time – usually within 1 working day.
- MX Poster Prints - Printed on 260gsm Satin Paper. Available in four standard sizes 16”x12”, 20”x16”, 70cmx50cm & 80cmx60cm. Also available up to A0 (please specify size required). If you would like any other sizes not shown in the order form please contact us to discuss this. Dispatch time – usually within 2 working days. Names, bike numbers or sponsor details can also be added to your poster prints FREE of charge!
- MX Laminated Posters - Laminated posters are much more durable than standard posters. The 250 micron laminate makes these durable and ready to hang without a frame. The laminate is applied to both back and front offering full encapsulation. Available in three sizes A3, A2 & A1. Dispatch time – usually within 2 working days.
- MX Canvas Wraps - 260gsm matt canvas on 18mm wooden frame. Supplied with corner wedges for the re-tensioning of your canvas. Supplied with hangers so they are ready to hang on your wall. Individually bubble wrapped and carefully packed for total protection of your print. Available in A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 & A0. Other sizes also available on request. Dispatch time – usually within 3 working days.
- Custom Poster Art - Custom designed poster art printed on 260gsm Satin Paper or Canvas. Names, bike numbers or sponsor details can also be added on request. Sizes start from 20”x16” up to A0. Dispatch time – usually within working 4 working days. Additional copies are charged at standard poster/canvas prices. Larger/custom sizes are available on request. Framed prints are collection/local delivery only, please contact us to discuss.
- Framed Prints - 260gsm satin paper with black finish frame, available in 20”x16”, 70x50cm and 80x60cm. Frames are COLLECTION ONLY. Other sizes and colours are also available on request, please contact me to order these and discuss collection.
